Let’s be real—packing for a trip can be chaotic. Whether you’re heading off on a sunny two-week holiday, a weekend city break, or diving into long-term travel, there are just some things that make the whole experience smoother, comfier, and way more enjoyable. That’s where my Amazon travel essentials come in.
Over the years (and many passport stamps later), I’ve narrowed down my ride-or-die travel essentials—those trusty little Amazon finds that I now refuse to travel without. These are the things I always throw in my bag, no matter where I’m going. We’re talking space-saving heroes, game-changing gadgets, and a few creature comforts that make airports, long-haul flights, and unfamiliar hotel rooms feel a little more like home.
From my beloved Kindle to the best earplugs I’ve ever tried, a genius jewellery case that keeps my earrings untangled (life-changing, honestly), and a speaker that brings the vibes wherever I land—this list is 100% tried, tested, and travel-approved by yours truly.
So if you’re looking to level up your travel game, or just want some inspiration for your next Amazon haul—here are my Top 10 Travel Essentials that I genuinely recommend to everyone.
📚 Kindle – My Beach Bag MVP

My Kindle is absolutely bursting at the seams with books; I’m a total sucker for those cheeky “99p Kindle Deal” emails. I can’t help myself. It’s an addiction, truly. While my bookshelves back home are stacked with charity shop treasures, airport impulse buys, and the occasional hotel bookshelf steal, the truth is… books are heavy. Like really heavy. And when you’re packing for long-term travel or a backpacking trip, that just won’t fly (literally, baggage allowance says no).
Enter the Kindle. Lightweight, compact, and filled with every book I’ve been meaning to read for the past five years. I’m currently obsessed with the brand new Matcha colour (it’s giving calming beach vibes), which is £94.99, but if you want to save a bit, the classic black is currently on sale for under £80. Bargain. Absolute steal.
Perfect for lazy beach days, lounging by the pool with a piña colada in hand, or a few peaceful pages before bed, I cannot recommend this little gem enough for fellow bookworms on the move. It’s one of those things you don’t realise you need until you’ve got it… and then you never leave home without it.
You can check both colours and prices here on Amazon
🔇 Loop Quiet Earplugs

Honestly? Game. Changer. These are hands-down one of my favourite Amazon travel essentials; these little lifesavers come with me everywhere. From girlie sleepovers and long-haul flights to overnight buses, snorers in hostel dorms, and yes, even when there’s a rogue cockerel crowing right outside your Airbnb in Thailand at 5am. (If you know, you know.)
I genuinely can’t live without these now. They’re soft, comfy, and block out just enough noise to help you drift off without feeling like you’re wearing something weird in your ears. They come in six colours, include a handy little travel case, and at £20, they’re easily one of my all-time fave spontaneous Amazon purchases.
Whether you’re a light sleeper, a frequent flyer, or just someone who values a bit of peace and quiet, these are an absolute essential in my travel kit.
👉 Check them out in all their colour options here on Amazon – I’ve got them in the classic Black, but honestly, I’m so tempted by the Mint Green, which colour are you choosing?
🧳 Compression Packing Cubes

I purchased my LeanTravel compression cubes back in April 2021, just before we set off on our long-term travel adventure, not knowing how long we’d be gone or where we’d end up. I grabbed two sets of three (each set comes with two large cubes and one small), and honestly, I haven’t packed without them since.
These bad boys keep me organised and sane. I’ve got tops in one, bottoms in another, undies in the small one, and voilà—everything’s neat, compact, and easy to find. They’re great for keeping your clothes wrinkle-free too, as long as you pack them properly (aka not just shove everything in like a gremlin).
Yes, they’re a bit pricier than some of the random brands you’ll see online, but the quality is chef’s kiss. We’ve travelled the world with these, and they still look brand new.
They’re brilliant for backpackers trying to squeeze 17 outfits into hand luggage, but also ideal for weekend trips or carry-on-only missions, basically any time you want to travel smart without sacrificing your favourite outfits.
🛍️ You can grab the set of 6 in black here (£53) or the set of 3 in grey here (currently on sale for £35) —both are fab; it just depends on how much stuff you like to pack (no judgment here).
🔌 Worldwide Travel Adaptor

This one’s just a no-brainer. If you’re heading to multiple destinations, do yourself (and your bag) a favour, ditch the pile of bulky adaptors and just grab a worldwide travel adaptor.
The one I use (and have linked below) is only £16.99 and covers over 224 countries—Europe, USA, UK, Australia, Thailand, Japan… you name it. It’s compact, lightweight, and saves both space and stress. I’ve used mine for everything from charging my phone in airport lounges to juicing up my Kindle in a jungle bungalow.
It’s got 4 USB ports (2 USB-A, 2 USB-C) and one universal plug socket, so you can charge your phone, laptop, camera, and tablet all at once—perfect for digital nomads, content creators, or anyone who travels with more than one gadget.
🏖️ Dock & Bay Towels

If you’ve ever messaged me asking “what travel towel should I get?” — this is it. It’s always this. I’m completely obsessed with my Dock & Bay towels and recommend them to literally everyone.
They’re lightweight, compact, quick-drying, sand-resistant, made from recycled materials, and they come in the cutest colours and patterns. I always go for the Extra Large size—it’s perfect for full-body lounging, doubles as a picnic blanket, and keeps you snug as a bug in a rug on windy beach days.
I’ve got multiple beach towels and a few other bits from Dock & Bay because I genuinely love their products. The quality is fab, the value for money is solid, and honestly, everyone should have one of these in their travel bag—whether you’re heading to the beach, the pool, or the beach club.
Here are a few of my fave designs (trust me, it’s hard to pick just one):
Each one comes with its own little fold-away pouch, and prices range from £25–£35 depending on the design and size.
🧴 Tiny Toiletries – The Essentials You Didn’t Know You Needed

When you’re travelling carry-on only or heading off on a quick weekend break, space is precious, and every gram counts. But that doesn’t mean you need to sacrifice your fave products. These tiny toiletries are my go-tos for staying organised, keeping my skin happy, and not having a meltdown at airport security.
1. 4PC Airport Security Liquids Bags – £5.99
I bought a set of two of these TSA-approved 20x20cm clear bags back in 2021 and, no exaggeration, they’ve been with me on at least 30 flights. Airport security is always a chaotic scene, no one knows what they’re doing, someone’s always frantically digging for rogue lip balm at the bottom of their bag, and the tray pile-up is real.
Having these pre-packed means I can breeze through security while everyone else is flapping. They zip completely closed, so they’re also perfect for stashing wet sponges or soap bars when you’re on the move. They last ages—mine are only just now being replaced. Seriously worth it for staying cool, calm, and collected at the airport.
2. Real Techniques Travel Fantasy Mini Brush Kit – £11
An 11-piece Real Techniques travel brush set for just £11?! Makeup lovers will know that RT brushes are the GOAT, and this mini version means you can still have all your favourites. They come with a little travel pouch, they’re super soft, and honestly, they’re just so cute. I love them, use them constantly, and recommend them to anyone who refuses to compromise on their glam while on the go. Chef’s kiss.
3. 4-Pack Leakproof Silicone Cream Pots (20ml) – £6.50
These 20ml silicone jars are perfect for decanting your moisturiser, SPF, body lotion, or even a hair mask for a weekend away. They’re small enough for your airport bag and mean you don’t have to carry your full-size tubs and tubes. I always keep one filled with night cream in my hand luggage for in-flight hydration, and the fact that they’re leakproof is an absolute win. No mess, no stress.
4. 4-Pack Silicone Travel Bottles with Labels – £9.99
Okay, not revolutionary, but SO handy. These 100ml squeeze bottles are fab for your shampoo, conditioner, body wash, cleanser, toner—you name it. They come with labels and a clear travel pouch, so you’re completely organised and flight-ready. Whether you’re off on a staycation or hopping continents, these make packing your liquids so much easier.
5. Perfume Atomiser – £8.50
I love a signature scent on holiday, but taking a full glass perfume bottle is asking for trouble. Enter this compact 10ml refillable atomiser. I decant a bit of My Burberry into it for every trip, and it means I can stay smelling lovely without carrying a clunky bottle that weighs as much as a small child. Also great for carry-on only trips since it fits perfectly in your airport baggy.
💍 Stackers Travel Jewellery Case

Let’s be honest—we’ve all lost an earring back, or spent a solid 15 minutes detangling necklaces while muttering “never again” under our breath. It’s a faff, and it drives me mad. But this little gem from Stackers has totally changed the game.
Stackers have been all over TikTok lately thanks to their sleek designs, dreamy colour options, and just generally being the go-to brand for stylish organisation. I’ve got the Dusky Blue Jewellery Roll, and honestly? I’m obsessed.
It’s got a faux leather exterior, a soft velvet lining, and manages to look super cute while also being ridiculously practical. Inside, there are 4 necklace poppers, space for 5 pairs of studs, plenty of room for rings, and even a detachable little pouch for bracelets or chunky bits. Once it’s zipped up, it’s not much bigger than a purse and super lightweight—so easy to pack, and no risk of your precious bits getting lost or tangled.
✨ Check it out here on Amazon for £30 – mine’s the dusky blue, but they’ve got 13 colours and multiple sizes if you fancy mixing it up. Honestly, if you travel with jewellery, this is an essential.
🔊 Bluetooth Speaker

What’s a beach day without a soundtrack, right? Whether I’m chilling by the pool, having sunset drinks on the balcony, or hosting a little beach picnic with friends, this Bluetooth Speaker is always in my bag.
Let’s talk features: it’s got hi-fi stereo sound, and enhanced bass, and you can switch between three different audio modes (Vocal, 3D Deep Bass, and Extra Bass) depending on your vibe. Oh—and did I mention it’s waterproof? Like, IPX7-level waterproof, so it can handle beach splashes, rain showers, even a dip in the pool (yep, tested that one accidentally 😅).
It connects super quickly to your phone via Bluetooth, and it plays for up to 30 hours on a single charge, so it won’t give up before you do.
🎶 Grab it here for £25.50 – it comes in five colours: black, red, pink, blue and grey.
📱 Waterproof Phone Case

This one’s simple: don’t take your phone swimming without protection. These waterproof phone pouches are a total no-brainer, especially for beach days and snorkelling trips.
You get a pack of 2 for just £7.50, and they’re great for snapping underwater pics, keeping your phone dry on a longtail boat in Thailand, or just avoiding any “I dropped it in the sea” heartbreak.
I’ve personally lost two phones to swimming pool mishaps (I know, I know), and I now refuse to travel without these. Keep your phone safe, it’s way cheaper than replacing it mid-trip.

😴 Sleepy Time Essentials

Getting a good night’s sleep when you’re travelling can be tricky. New beds, noisy neighbours, jet lag, the aircon that won’t stop humming… the list goes on. These might be the unsung heroes of my Amazon travel essentials list—because sleep is sacred, even on the road. That’s why I never travel without these two sleep saviours that help me unwind, even in the weirdest of hotel rooms.
This Works Deep Sleep Pillow Talk Kit – Under £20
This set is an absolute gem and one of my favourite wind-down rituals. You get a 75ml Deep Sleep Pillow Spray and a 5ml Stress Check Roll-On, and together they’re pure sleepytime magic.
I’m big on my night-time routine, skincare, PJs, Kindle time—but the pillow spray is next level. It smells sooo calming, and helps me feel properly relaxed and ready for bed. The stress roll-on is perfect for pulse points if you’re feeling a bit wired or overstimulated after a long travel day. I always use both when I’m staying somewhere new and need help easing into sleep mode.
Silk Eye Mask for Sleeping – £7.99
Light sleeper? Same. Whether I’m trying to nap on a flight, sleep through someone’s bedside scrolling, or block out an annoyingly bright hotel hallway light, this silk eye mask is my go-to.
It’s soft, comfy, and the silk helps protect the delicate skin around your eyes, so it’s practical and a little bit luxurious. I wear mine every single night, and I’d honestly feel lost without it. Great for planes, trains, automobiles—or just when you need to block out the world and actually get some sleep.
And that’s it—your girl’s Top 10 Amazon Travel Essentials!
I hope you’ve found a few new Amazon travel essentials to add to your list—trust me, they’ll make your next trip smoother, lighter, and more organised. These useful, compact, stylish, sanity-saving bits I genuinely love and always recommend.
